By studying psychology in a well-balanced way centered on social psychology and clinical psychology, students acquire the ability to objectively and scientifically analyze human emotions and behavior, the listening and self-expression skills needed to coexist within diverse groups of people and society, and the interpersonal skills to understand themselves and others and to proactively collaborate with others.
Students can aim for two qualifications that put clinical psychology to practical use in society: Certified Public Psychologist and Certified Clinical Psychologist. From their first year, students train their clinical skills through numerous hands-on classes, including role-play exercises in active listening, and receive thorough support in preparing for graduate school.
