In the Department of Human Welfare, students learn how to provide better support to those in need of help. We aim to train students to become graduates who can contribute to the creation of a society in which many people, facing various different challenges in their lives, can live together amicably.
Students learn theory through lectures and develop practical skills through on-campus training and practice in hospitals and welfare facilities, etc. Furthermore, we emphasize the cultivation of a broad general education, the ability to think logically, and the ability to identify with others.
Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for the future, so that they will be able to acquire national qualifications and provide support or management in clinical practice. Practice and training are also held during summer and winter vacation periods, so students are expected to take their four years of study and practice quite seriously.
