In the spirit of today's rising consciousness about the importance of food in maintaining good health, we cultivate nutritionists and managerial dietitians who fully understand the importance of food, and who can propose eating behavior based upon appropriate food selection and scientific assessment. In addition, we teach high-level skills and knowledge for food specialists so that our students can make a valuable contribute to society.
We aim to train students to become nutritionists, who are food specialists. By teaching the specialized knowledge and skills required to be nutritionists, our graduates can be active at hospitals, schools, food-related businesses, the catering and restaurant industry, and as food service providers. In addition, our students may earn junior high school and high school teaching qualifications that enable them to work in the field of Food Science in educational settings.
Students will learn specialized skills and information necessary for dietitians. In particular, they will learn high-level specialized skills and information for diet guidance for sick and injured people. Our graduates can be active as nutritionists, dietitians, food service providers, food sanitation inspectors, and food sanitation supervisors, etc., at such workplaces as hospitals, schools, food-related businesses, the catering and restaurant industry and administrative agencies.
