A large portion of Chiyoda is dedicated to the Outer Gardens of the Imperial Palace and the adjacent East Gardens, where you can spend a day exploring the moats, entrance gates, and paths. This area is home to landmarks, such as Nippon Budokan, a venue for musical concerts and martial arts competitions, and the National Theater of Japan, which hosts performances of kabuki (dance-drama) and bunraku (puppet theater). The Tokyo International Forum Building is Japan’s center of culture and the arts. Many high-end boutiques and restaurants line the bustling commercial district near Tokyo Station.
